2309-2-MyGO!!!!!-Exhausted-Fully Engaged

It's not because of watching MyGO that I'm feeling tired.

Life Record - Tiredness#

This week is still as devoid of life as ever, and even because I stayed up late frequently last week, this week the tiredness has exploded. I hardly saw the clock at 8:30. Every day I wake up -> wash up -> ride my bike to the office, which has drained all my energy. Moreover, it rained multiple times this week, so I had to ride my bike or walk to the office with an umbrella.
(However, walking to the office is quite nice; it's one of the rare times I don't look at electronic devices, and I can always come up with some different ideas.)

Writing Matters#

I tried to write this article in 1.5 hours. Writing the weekly journal has taken me four to five hours each week. My problem is not that there isn't enough to write about, but rather that there is too much I want to write, yet not in depth. As a result, my articles are filled with all sorts of random content without a good central idea, or I fail to clarify specific topics, writing too superficially without hitting the key points. The material should be about quality, not quantity, and I may not have realized this issue yet. (This article ended up taking more than four hours to write.)

On Wednesday this week, I wrote about a very small knowledge point, a counterintuitive concept of POSIX lines.

However, because I recorded this, I feel like I will never forget this knowledge point in my life.

I also thought about whether updating two articles a week is a bit too much for someone like me who works in a 996 startup, to the point where I don't even have time to read normally. But then I thought, even if I don't update two articles a week, I probably wouldn't use that time to read anyway. Or, even if I were writing a monthly report, I would probably only spend four hours writing it on the last day of the month. From this perspective, I should still push myself to do this. The material preparation from Monday to Saturday should be more complete, rather than just writing an outline, so that I can have a bit more ease on Sunday.

TG Channel Update#

The TG channel has surprisingly gained a few more people. I can only comfort myself by not worrying about what others think. This channel is filled with various rough, immature, or silly ideas. My reading volume is also very low, basically like watching monkeys. It's that kind of hindsight without insight.

Recently, after glancing at the channels of neighbors like Yu-chan, I realized that I have missed so much in the past two years. How should I put it, it feels a bit like saying "it's a pity we met so late"; if I had known you two years earlier, I might not have fallen to this point. I feel like I've been a caveman for two or even three years.

Information Flow Progress#

Abandoning zapier + ifttt and switching to n8n, mainly because both of these software require payment for multi-step operations and are not flexible enough. For example, I want to use an API response value as a trigger, which is not supported (though perhaps it can be achieved through RSSHub first). Another thing is I started using pinboard, which is actually more comfortable for me than Readwise, as it is simpler, and I don't need Readwise's reader.

Tears of the Kingdom Progress#

There was no progress in Tears of the Kingdom this week. It's not because I'm addicted to MyGO; I originally thought about going underground for exploration this week, but I found the underground content a bit empty and couldn't continue.

Then, inadvertently, I clicked on the neighboring "Fire Emblem: Engage," quickly restarted three times, finished chapter 21, and rescued old Marth. SRPGs are still the same; once I start playing, I get addicted and can hardly stop, wanting to try various formations. Honestly, I think playing Fire Emblem is more enjoyable than Tears of the Kingdom. I might need to reflect on why I feel this way, "On How to Fall in Love with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom." I now find an interesting point, the fact that I can't distract myself at work indicates that I haven't fully fallen in love with this work yet. (I often got distracted at work this week searching for Bang Bang; it seems I have a deep love for MyGO...)

Work Record#

Interpersonal Relationships#

It's hard to work with peers. Jealousy arises. There is indeed pressure; when working with them, I feel a bit oppressed and depressed. In the end, everyone ends up fighting alone, which is really... (This part is omitted for a thousand words.)

Complaints about Alibaba Cloud#

This week I was trapped by Alibaba Cloud's CDN + OSS; I should say this is not suitable for static page hosting. As a part-time operations engineer, my work has truly failed.

  1. At first, I couldn't find index.html, and then it couldn't auto-complete .html.
  2. The content type itself might change for unknown reasons, causing gzip to be ineffective.
  3. After using the CDN, the problem became even more troublesome; I couldn't trigger CDN updates based on OSS updates properly, leading to the need to run a script to trigger CDN cache updates every time I deploy...
  4. Even Alibaba Cloud's aliyun cli is problematic; after using the delete function of config to remove the default configuration, the entire aliyun cli became unusable, and I had to manually clean up the configuration files.

Who Uses the Command Line More#

This National Day, our company's first product will officially release its first version to the public. Yes, it's an unexpectedly command-line tool. So this question has always been in front of me, "Who uses the command line more?"

I have a preliminary answer: those who are doing cutting-edge things belong to this category. Because their tools have not yet developed to the point of having a GUI and are being updated and iterated. For example, a few years ago, when the front-end field was evolving rapidly, many front-end tools were phased out before IDEs could adapt. So, surprisingly, front-end colleagues use the command line quite a bit.

Other Thoughts#

Some problems disappear when approached differently. For example, in "The Balance of God," the number of people you save at the beginning is meaningless because in the end, you will change the earlier history, making the stories of those you saved directly nonexistent. No one will remember that you saved her.

Reading & Works#

MyGo!!!!!#

I happened to start watching on the day it ended; I'm almost shocked by how quickly I consume ACG works. I opened it that day and finished it the next day. It was the first time I learned about the IP BanG Dream!; I had never felt much for music-related works before. This one had such a good rhythm that I finished it in one go. I also sneakily watched discussions on forums while at work...

"Did you think it was an easy band story? Wrong! It's actually a large-scale youth pain ex-girlfriend literature." Each character has corresponding personality flaws, and there are a lot of boomerangs that made me genuinely amused; very good. Also, the OP is somewhat spoilerish, letting me know that the final band consists of these people... I like the unpredictable cat-like personality of Rena in this; I often imagine Ai-chan's great victory when watching Ai.

The first time I learned what rock music was was from last year's "The Greatest Show on Earth (Douban)," but the first work involving the formation of a rock band was "NANA." It wasn't until MyGO that I realized a rock band consists of at least three people: a drummer, a guitarist, and a bassist. My journey has indeed been long. However, unlike "NANA," where I read the manga all the way through, I watched the animation of MyGO, and the performance effect is indeed quite different.

But I want to start a special topic to explore "When did anime start to feature band storylines?" The earliest one I know is from "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya."

Others#

  1. "2557 Days with Hengshui High School": I understand that this is the limit that ordinary people can achieve with full dedication. If it were me, the optimal path might also be this one.
  2. "A Product That Must Fail": I mainly listened to this in the Duku APP, discussing Lin Yutang's quick typewriter. It was the first time I got to know this person. Related to this is the video by He Tongxue, whose comment section was heavily criticized.
  3. Tears of the Kingdom:

Elegant Self-Check Items#

This is mainly the checklist of Elegant Philosophy: Sleep + Keep + Toggl Track

This week's sleep time has slightly increased, but due to last week's poor sleep, I feel like I have been almost compensating for last week's rest this week.
